I love these ready to go bags of food! Throw them in the cooker with a couple cups of water and let simmer- either for 8 hours, or 4. They are abso-effin-lutely delicious too!
Im lazy, I dont touch raw meat, AND I only cook for myself. Buying a ready-to-go crockpot classic bag O stuff works really well for me. And for $5 I feed myself for 3 days. I couldnt buy the ingredients and make pot roast for as much. Now, if I had a family to feed it would be entirely different. So for any starving college kids like myself, you can grab a really good meal that tastes like you put hours of work into it- and its cheaper than a value meal at burger king!
just my 2cents for today

OK I haven't seen these but now I'm really curious and will look. One question (if you have a bag laying around in the freezer) is the sodium high on these? I know that they "Hamburger Helper Meals" kit's things are really really high in sodium.
But hey anything to cut back on the work is great!
Speaking of cutting back on work has anyone ever tried those crock pot clean up bags (liners)? If so....good or bad??
I don't have one in the freezer to check the sodium right now, but since it's frozen, not shelf stable, I'd imagine it would be less than in Hamburger Helper.
As for the liner bags, they rock! I use them all the time, they just pull out, throw them away, no serious soaking and scrubbing necessary, unless you rip it with a chicken bone.....

I've never seen these, but will have to look for them my next trip to the store! Sounds good and easy...love easy!
I did the vegetables and beef a few weeks ago when i had some friends from out of town. I made 2 bags in my crockpot and it fed the 4 of us just fine- two big guys too. They of course thought I was an amazing cook. I didnt bother to correct them!
right on! we just love these. not only are they delicious, they are also perfect on game night (soccer mom)!
Tuna...the other white meat!
LOVE these! I like to cut back on the water they call for, though, it's too soupy for my preference, but they're yummy. The only downside is that they are bulky, and take up a good bit of room in your freezer.
