Could see that Brooke Believed in what I Call "Shyesha's Luck"

Lets Remember that From the Top 24 that Shyesha was always in the Bottom 3 and Kristy Lee was always in the Bottom 2

Syesha always went to Safety except for the 2 times that Kristy wasn't bottom 2 which was "do it anyway" (bottom 4) and "God Bless the USA (Bottom 3) and when it wasn't Kristy Lee Safe and Whoever she was with going homw, Syesha Walked away Safe.

Of course when the BOttom 2 became Syesha and Kristy Lee I was like "Oh,oh...Kristy is going home as Syesha always was "safe" before Kristy Lee...lol.

I predict that She will be asorbing Brookes voters in addition to Kristy Lee's Voters she gain from 2 weeks ago and maybe half if not all of Carly's voters if she keeps in her "Broadway mode"

I am guessing the next one she will be facing is Micheal in the bottom 2 and she will once again walk away safe...assuming she doesn't lose the "spark" she finally seems to have

Hate to say it, cause I am a David Cook fan, but Syesha is more "versitle" and reminds me of Jordan Sparks and Kelly Clarkson at this Stage (she is actually "getting better" while the others have "topped off")

I didn't get to see either show this week yet - I go to night school MTW and I have to wait until Thursday to watch the performances and results.  I like your logic here.  Many people don't remember to realize that people aren't voted off - they are voted to stay.

I have favorited Syesha for quite a while now but I thought Cook would end up being this year's Idol.  It's not only her singing.. she is wayyyy pretty and has a nice keister.

Just saw the two recorded Idols: Performances from 4/29 and Results from 4/30.  Here's how I would have ranked the "Idolness" averaging both performances:

  1. David C - I liked both songs, last one kicked major ass.
  2. Syesha - Schwing!  And she sings pretty good, too.  1st song was far better than the 2nd.  I don't like it when singers tap their mic.  Not as bad as a "guitar face" but it's distracting.
  3. David A - 1st song: SOS; fast fwd; 2nd song: more of the SOS; fast fwd again. Appreciating my DVR.
  4. Brooke - Nerves of jello, uneasy.
  5. Jason - Has he just given up or what?  Ganja, maybe?

Brooke did better than I thought when she was told the news.  I still felt bad for her.
