confused.

confused.
I thought tom filtered trackers, so you can only be tracked if you have a tracker? is that still true or can i be tracked if i dont have one as well?

Only a couple of trackers are filtered by myspace, the majority aren't.

The translucent tabs that you can enable on adblock indicate flash files or javascript and they aren't a good way to identify trackers because most trackers use image files.

hmm... interesting. i know theres a how to block trackers post, but its too much of hassle for me. im a lazy one. anywho, the girl who i thought was tracking me, she updates her profile often... almost daily... would that mean that theres chances she doesn't have a tracker at all?

I'd say there's a good chance she does not. If you use Firefox with adblock plaus you can block trackers as you go. If I hit up a MySpace page with a tracker it will show up with a little translucent adblock tab. Click the tab and it will open an add filter window. Click to add it your filtered list and you shouldn't be tracked on that page again. I will say trackers are awesome. I regret getting rid of mine. Every time the Misses looks at her spyspace and we see her ex stalking her and that he got that from my page, well that's just priceless. "I'm just like you only shorter."

you can still be tracked if you dont have that add ons....there's a topic regarding trackers here and avoiding them as well. =o)

You can still be tracked. Trackers are filtered when a person updates their profile. If they had the tracker code in their profile prior to filter then it still works. "I'm just like you only shorter."
