How To Tell If You Have Private / Premium Forum Access

Virtually every day we get at least one email from a new premium forum member asking when they will get access to the private/premium forums, or complaining that they cannot get into the Private/Premium forums, when they already had access all along.
This is how it works, and this is how you can tell if you have Private/Premium forum access.
Everybody sees the "Private Forums Info" link at the top of every page:
this does not go away even if you have access. If you click on the link, you will still be taken to the Private Forums Info page - even if you already have access.
The Private / Premium forums are listed at the top of (all) the Forums Area. You can get to the Forums area by clicking the Forums Link at the upper-right of every page.
If you have access to the Private / Premium Forums, you will see "Restricted Access Areas" at the top
If you do not have Private / Premium access, you will not see the Restricted Access Area and will see all the other boring areas only.
One other way to know if you have Private / Premium access is to look at your badges. You can see your badges by clicking on your "My Account" link, in the upper-right grey area of most pages.
If you have premium access you will see one of the $ badges
How Long Does It Take To Get Access?:
When you purchase lifetime membership access to the Private / Premium forums will be granted within 24 hours - however in most cases it is granted much faster. When your account is upgraded you will receive a 'shipping confirmation' from Google Checkout. If after receiving your 'shipping confirmation' you cannot find your way into the Premium Forums or if you have not received your shipping confirmation after 24 hours, please send me an email at Hubby ~@~ GrownUpGeek.com

Blondie; There is no "Private Forum link" - you are clicking on the Private Forum INFO link, which takes you to the page with INFORMATION about how to get into the private forums. Please read the post above (at the top of this page) which explains how to get into the private forums and how to tell if you have Private Forum access.

is there any other membership options that cost less? i preferred paying $1.99 per month like before with paypal. do i have any other options other than the lifetime membership? i might get that in the future, but right now, i prefer paying in small increments! thanks

Currently the lifetime membership is the only paid option we offer.
