Changing URL or Starting up new Myspace account?

Is it possible to change the URL for your myspace account? If not how easy is it to close down a myspace account and to start up a new one? I have had my account since 2006 and am far too lazy to sit there and go through all the random friends that I don't want on there any more and to pick out the pieces of code that don't need to be there. Nope you can't change it but you can hide it. Here is the code to do that

So if I make a new one will I have to get a new email address to set it up on too?
 No I've deleted my original MySpace before. I setup a brand new one the next day using the email I had used before.

good question - even though it has been asked often and no luck on changing the url. i would be delightfully surprised if there now was a way to do such. i wanted to do the same so i canceled my profile. that was over 30-days ago. still not canceled but i did make a new one and did NOT use the custom url feature this time.
