Re: Capture Web page

Here's another one, it's a Firefox extension: Screengrab!

It has the option to save the entire page, so not just the visible portion. It saves in png and jpg.

Re: Capture Web page

analogX will capture the active screen all the time regardless of the program. http://www.analogx.com/CONTENTS/download/system/capture.htm

Will save it as a bitmap however flip it into microsoft paint (just right click the image and hit edit and it will open it up in MS paint) you can then re save it as a jpeg.  You can also crop it in MS paint - I use it all the time and I like it more than the addon's because you can capture anything even items not on the web (like programs)

Re: Capture Web page

Once you have it in paint hit the file button and the "save as" at that point you can change what you want to save it as (drop down the little box) such as a "jpeg" and where you want to save it to. Now note if you edited it then it will only let you save it as a "bmp" so you have to reopen it back in paint after you edit it and then save it as a "jpeg". Sounds like a lot of steps but really it is easy. I use this program all the time! I can't take credit for it I found it via Foambrush!

Re: Capture Web page

Nice one, bob - thanks.

Good to see another option other than the prt scr button without having to download anything other than a nifty Firefox add on! Laughing

Re: Capture Web page

Here is a great program (FREE) that I use all the time that will take a screen shot of your computer screen.  It's great for pdf files that will not let you copy them.  Now it saves it as a .bmp (bitmap) but once you save it you can very easily click to edit it (via Microsoft paint) and then re save it as a .jpg

analogX will capture the active screen all the time regardless of the program. http://www.analogx.com/CONTENTS/download/system/capture.htm

Re: Capture Web page

Go to the webpage you want, and hit the "print screen" button on your keyboard.

Then open the image editor of your choice, start a new project and paste it. Then you can save it as a .jpg.

It generally doesn't capture the whole page - it just saves the portion of it on the screen.
