Seconding smartmom's recommendations there.

Regarding the DVD-burners, you really only need 1 of them to be a full DVD-burning system. The other could be a cheaper DVD-ROM/CD-ROM combo unless you're going to be burning 2 disks at the same time.

Skip on the USB card add-in and get a powered USB hub if have an expansive list of USB products. This will also lessen the drain on your PSU's lifespan.

If you don't have it already, get XP 64-bit with SP3. I heavily recommend against running anything on Vista unless you run Vista Ultimate. The other alternative would be to run Windows Server 2008 on your machine instead. It has a much better performance than Vista while still allowing access to today's games.

What speakers are you using with your system? Old speakers on a new sound card are going to same as old speakers on an integrated sound card.

If there's still room left, you might look into getting a mouse with a high dpi rating to improve the accuracy of your mouse in games. It really makes a difference in some games. I play DoD:S and HellGate:London myself with the 18,000dpi Razer DeathAdder mouse. It makes a big difference over the OEM mouse in how accurate the computer reads the mouse movements and clicks.

Re: building a new computer want to know if it looks good to you

Cool PC - just watch the Antec case - they look great but I've heard of some ppl having issues with them.  Also steel cases have heat issues you might want to checkout a aluminum one (you can find them for the same in cost)

A couple items you may want to look at (and I'll give you the newegg links for them).

DVD burner:

LITE-ON Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache IDE 20X DVD±R DVD Burner $24.99

RAM - this one is the one I really recommend for Gamers (you can overclock it too):

OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory ($69.99 for 2GB so $140. for 4GB)

Here is also a couple of other sites you might want to check out (great prices and some fun mod stuff for your rig):

http://www.frozencpu.com/

http://www.svc.com/

http://www.xoxide.com/

I did a gaming rig for my son for Christmas (haha he plays Crysis too - along with other games - I think he is the same age as you).

I ran your list through a good friend who built my gaming rig and is the in the PC industry (hardware).  This is what his reply was on some of the items:

processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Windsor 3.2GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2 125W Dual-Core Processor - Retail $169.99-----spend more on CPU go quad core 9600 black edition its more future proof

cpu fan: ARCTIC COOLING ALPINE64 92mm CPU Cooler - Retail $9.99---don't go cheap with after market cooler since stock cooler uses heatpipes and is actually better than this after market cooler

case: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail $119.99---find an aluminum case in same price range heat will be a major issue with SLI setup if you stay with that

sound card:Creative 53SB000003000 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Elite Pro Sound Card and HS-900 Headphone Bundle - Retail $129.99----don't really need this the MB already has 8channel audio on board invest this money on upgrading CPU or get a 9800 GX2 so you don't have issues getting to SATA on MB

hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3750330AS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM $129.99----make sure you partition these into smaller more manageable drives

usb card BELKIN Hi-Speed USB 2.0 5-Port PCI Card Model F5U220v1 - Retail $29.99 --not sure why you need 11 USB's total on the back of the case might want to look at a nice hub for desktop instead

thermal grease: Arctic Silver ASTA-7G (2-PC-SET) Premium Silver Thermal Adhesive - OEM $10.99---get regular AS5 instead and keep the layer thin

Extra note: unless you are using a 64bit system you will only be able to address 4 GB of memory total, so 1GB of video memory and 4GB of system memory means 1 GB will not be seen so you may want to pick up a copy of xp64 or vista home premium 64
