I have Vista, generally use Firefox, connect to the net via wireless cable connection.
Randomly and on a daily basis, firefox starts telling me it cannot connect to any website~ even though I am not losing my network connection to the net. This happens out of no where, all of a sudden I just can't get to anything (I get a can't connect page with the yellow triangle). Rebooting fixes the issue. If I open IE at this time, it can't get through either so I figure it is not a firefox issue.
Is this a cache problem possibly? I have no idea!!!
I appreciate any suggestions...

this used to happen to me when i used would use my wireless laptop, even in the same room as the lynksys router. while the desktop pc would not lose connection, the laptop would. i was running window xp on the laptop. in windows xp, there is a setting to use secure authentication. unless you are using secure authentication within your wireless network, don't click on this option. with it enabled, windows xp will try to authenticate securely, and if it cannot, it will reset the connection continually.
or, maybe try this:
Tuna ><((((*> the other white meat!
It is not losing a connection to the net through my router.
Here's a werid thing... I was listening to a radio station through a firefox window and browsing in another. The whole "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server blahblah.com" thing started to happen again on all my open tabs as I refreshed them...BUT the radio station connection never cut out.
Still, the only way to get it working again is to reboot.
