Wow, this year is just bound and determined to end crappy.

I hadn't been home from work for very long when my mother called me around 8am.  My cousin Joe, one of my Aunt Rose Mary's sons (my mother's sister) was found dead by his eldest son (who is only about 28) around 2am.  He thinks it might have been a massive heart attack, but we're still not sure.

I never post my poems. So consider yourselves lucky.

My love for you is burning bright. When we first met. We could never fight. When I first met you. You were all nice. Before that, my heart was all ice. You took my heart and made it solid gold. I know when I stayed with you. I was no fool.

Boyfriend and I love to spend our time at local historic sites.  We're fortunate to have NJ's first Governer's Mansion within walking distance, it's one of our favorite haunts.  We were even members of their preservation society, briefly, before the University took posession of the property. 

 Thank you to everyone who sent their well wishes, thoughts, and concern.  It's so nice to know that even though we barely know each other, you still care & care so deeply.  It makes dealing with the tragedy (past & upcoming) just a little bit easier.

It looks like we're going to loose another of our birds.    At least with this one, unlike my little man, we were half expecting it.  Still, it doesn't make it any easier. ~sighs~

Ever catch Bill Engval's "Here's your sign" routine?  Yeah...

Last evening, I had to hit my local Walgreen's for a few items.  I also needed Sudafed, which, thanks to the meth-heads, is a controlled substance, so I had to use the Customer Service Desk, not the regular register.
