I love this browser magic trick.  Go to:  www.images.google.com  & enter any search you want (i would do a basic search for cooler results -i used "swirls" as an example).  then use the drop box on the top left, for the size you want the images to appear(i used small sizing for my images).  Here's a snap shot of the 1st step:

THis can be fun using/showing it for kids or even your friends. enter in: www.darkartsmedia.com/google.html now move your cursor/click over the two OO's in gOOgle. They disappear. Now, hover/click back over it & it re-appears. I used two of my fingers on the screen & pretended to magically make them disappear & re-appear, my cousin loved it. (gullible)

So not only do I get my VERY OWN BLOOOGGGG... My concert hall is back as well!!!

Oh my I missed the old chatroom so very very much... I started to tear up when I clicked to see it was BACK! Now I just have to wait for the old gang to get back... although Abra won't be there anymore... that's okay though.

*Side note: anyone notice how Firefox 2.0.* doesn't list okay as being a word? or ok? just kind of annoyed by that*

I like to think of myself as a pretty intuitive person, and I often feel as though I have a fairly accurate feel for someone,even if after just a few minutes of conversing. Let's just say, intuitive or not, there are definite disadvantages in trying to "counsel" , or should I say... save, someone who is a family member, or even someone close to your heart and I only say this through,tortuous, mind numbing, exhausting experience. This, of course, is obvious to me now, and had been obvious to me before, and when I had been asked a seemingly eternity ago, I said that it's a no brainer, and that you just cannot "save" your own. You cannot demonstrate objectivity in a personal world because there is none. But ,if only I had practiced what I preached...

So I sit here and wonder about the blogs. I just read Geek's Hubby's comment that our blogs are public. Decision then, to edit out my first post or just leave it. I'll decide that later.

Blogs on GrownUpGeek. One would think that they should pertain to the subject at hand. Okay, I can see that point. There are many subjects here at GuG. But I also read where the Hubby said it was our blog and it could be about anything we wanted to write about. But remember, it's not private. Guess it doesn't matter to me, because there just isn't much these days anymore that is private.

Okay, this blog was never meant to stay up for any duration. I was just seeing what type of features were available and to test for functionality.

But, in for a penny - in for a pound.
