New Blogger?

Some of you know I'm opinionated and I like to hear myself talk.  What's better than a GUG blog?  Haha!  So... I'll try to keep it light.  Probably write about my hobbies - running injuries, bicycle wrecks, guitar/music, maybe a little computer stuff.

For my first blog, I'm linking to a picture I took this morning from my upper deck.  The back of my house overlooks a small valley holding a wooded creek and a tobacco field.  I haven't decided how to landscape my backyard yet, so it's still a "blank canvas".

It's a cool May morning in Kentucky... guess I'll get my run over with.   ~ Steve

Stevie, that is absolutely breathtaking!!!

what i'd give to be able to look out at that.  my view overlooks a crappy playground, dumpsters, and a highway.  and i can't leave the windows open at night (which to me is relaxing to get a cool breeze and hear the nighttime sounds) because chances are someone else nearby will have left their windows open while doing the deed..very vocally!!! or a person's cigarette smoke will waft inside.

*someday!!!* saving my money!!! it's a decent enough place but it's got a few flaws...those being the major ones which aren't 2major!  which is why we live there...to save up money to move up the figurative ladder!!!

 K my comment turned into a mini-blog, sorry!  Point is, Amazing View!!!!  Love the fog rolling out/in.  And it's so green!!!but not just an ordinary green...a deep rich green like how i'd imagine ireland to look.

 Stevie, What a beautiful picture! I can see myself enjoying my coffee with this view, as i gather my thoughts for the day! you don't mind if I borrow your deck in the mornings, do you? just gorgeous!..juliek

Kentucky really is one of the prettiest states around.  I wouldn't trade her for anything.

 But your canvas isn't blank.  Oh my.  I want it for my desktop.  Right now, my desktop is my view from the top of the mountains last year.

 You have a most beautiful view.

awe stevie...it is stunning. picture perfect! and yes, you are opinionated, however, it is all in the delivery. that is why i thought you (and you devil) would be excellent bloggers! you have a way with expressing your thoughts w/out offending. you could tell someone to ef' the ef' off and they'd be thrilled as shizzle!

The pic looks nice. Its a lot like my In-Laws backyard in eastern TN. My wife is still trying to convince me to move up there.

I like your opinions and look forward to your blogs. I'm sure you will interject some random off-brand humor whenever applicable... and hopefully a few times when it isn't.
