Wow, i just got done watching this. It was by far the worst episode of idol I can ever remember seeing! I thought everyone pretty much sucked. Carly was ok, but i dislike her based on her past achievments- so she doesnt count, haha!

Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

I love The Beatles.  If not for anything else, the simple fact that they shifted music into an entirely new direction and changed history.  What would rock have been like if it weren't for George Harrison? ;)   Kinda like the short story from Bradbury's "The Illustrated Man" where the time travelling safari-hunter stepped off the path and squished a butterfly.  When he returned to the present everything had changed.

Anyway - the country version was horrible.  OMG.. I cringed.  I was more embarassed for Kristy than I was for myself the time in the meeting room at work when I wore my big jeans I forgot my belt.

Then I made the mistake of playing it again on my DVR and once again to show my wife when she got home from work.  Trust me.. if you heard it once, do not listen to it again.

So... how does one get the sound of "Steel Guitar 8 Days A Week" out of one's head.  It's been a week and it's still there.

I too didn't like it. Maybe I heard wrong but I thought they were going to do a second week of Lennon-McCartney (this week) and my immediate reaction was... Nooooooooooooooo! Just Let it Be!!!!!!!!

OMG, the country version of (i dont even remember the song now because it sucked so hard) really SUCKED !

OH my GAWWD...Kristi Lee was horrible. Yell

I was so embarrassed for her and I knew they would give her bad reviews.  I was on my toes when it was her and David Hernandez for the bottom 2.  I couldn't even finish watching her perform, I had to leave the room.  I felt so bad for her and just made herself look rediculous.  GOSH.

Then she had to sing it AGAIN when she was a part of the bottom 3! YIKES!  I could NEVER do that.  I just want to hide in a hole somewhere for her.  

Poor Kristy.  If she doesn't get her act right this week, she's getting booted! 

I'm so glad for this Idol thread, I thought I was the only gugie that watches it.  I'm such a dork.

 

 

 

HORRIBLE!  I'm so embarrassed for her..... 

 

I have a fetish for HOT GEEKS!

Kristy lee cook, yah that song-whatever it was- sucked.

Heres my big secret, i dislike all beatles songs to start with, but i just thought everyone slaughtered them.

greasy haired david did ok. my boy- archuleta- realllllly sucked though. Im so disappointed in him. I want to spank him and send him to hsi room to study!
