i've always had bad lucks with refurbished products from any company... except Apple. they do a good job reinspecting everything to make sure it's all working kosher. go for it if you haven't already.
I have purchased a computer (G5), a Nano, and a couple of iPods as refurbished. They have all worked out great so I have no complaints. In fact, the refurb has the same warranty so Apple treats it the same way as a new item while saving you some dough!
yes, iPods. many! bought refurbished units for my daughter starting at the age of 6. she's always been a music enthusiast, and is hooked on podcasts as well. however, at the age of 6 i wasn't quite convinced she was responsible enough for a new one nor of one with lots of storage. so we have gone through many the past several years replacing those of which were either lost or turned up missing! she's 10 now and is worthy of an ipod touch. never have had a problem with their refurbished units.
Is this chicken, what I have, or is this fish? I know it's tuna, but it… it says "Chicken of the Sea".
Yeah... the ipod I got Boyfriend had the earphone jack go out... so they gave us the option to get a refurbished one.
The one we got was awesome, because his had gotten all scratched up in Iraq, but the warranty didn't cover cosmetic problems... only ones that affected how it worked... there was like one hardly noticeable scratch on it... we only noticed it because we inspected the he** out of it... it works great... was nice and shiny and polished... no problems with it.
