Ok I am really sorry if this has been covered but I am all in a flutter..... I want to use outlook (I never have before) but I cannot seem to get outllok to recognize the imap/smtp. Keeps telling me "Unable to connect" Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance for any and all help!

are you attempting to use Outlook or Outlook Express? also, at the aol.com page, did you use the easy transfer (for outlook) option to pull mail and addresses in?

I'm using outlook, on a vista system....I have not seen the easy transfer for aol will have to check again

I didnt have any issues setting up my aol accounts to go to outlook (but i switched to thunderbird over  a year ago, so things might have changed!)

This site looks like it has some good details (and pictures) so maybe it has some better advicE?

Thanks AE been there and tried it several times and it is still not working, I do okay on the computer and stuff but this makes me feel total retarded ya know??lol
