So, earlier today I deleted several bookmarks from safari after copying and pasting into an email form. But when it was time to send the email, yahoo decided to NOT send it and I lost all of the content of the email. All gone! and my bookmarks are no more.

any way I can recover? not on the clipboard anymore...

i realize this reply is really late and so after-the-fact, but once you're all recovered, use the bookmark syncing feature with a .mac account. that'll save and sync all your safari bookmarks on any or all of your macs

Re: Any way to recover deleted bookmarks from safari?
thanks for the quick reply

the mac store had my recent backup from couple of months ago (I don't back up my own stuff). Sad

not sure how to go back to a previous restore point with osx. I know with os9 there was a software that you would use to restore stuff you lost by going back in time in a way (I think the name was rewind). But wth osx? In any case a software won't help me now

browswer is closed.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

today is just not my day is it!!! Stupid yahoo!!! stupid school!!! stupid me!!! I knew I should have copied and pasted into a word doc and sent it as an attachement!!!

Sorry....now I'm b*tch*ng a little too much....

Re: Any way to recover deleted bookmarks from safari?

I hate it when I forget to copy things into word docs too. (once I didn't copy all my hits on a tracker into a word doc, and sure enough, the website had a fluke and everyone's hit information got deleted. They were very important anticipated hits I had been waiting for--and I should've copied into a word doc immediately. Instead I waited and they got deleted) I still get mad at myself when I think about it, but it's easier if I try to take it as a lesson learned so I don't mess up again. Hopefully you will have a better day tomorrow Smiling

Re: Any way to recover deleted bookmarks from safari?

I read around and the only way I saw was--to get a copy of the bookmarks.plist file from a recent backup

Or perhaps try going back to a previous restore point maybe (not sure though)

Or use your browser history (if not deleted yet) to go back to visited pages you bookmarked
