So who thinks which show is the best? None would be here without The Simpsons, but Family Guy and South Park have pushed boundaries while The Simpsons got a little stale... I personally like these animated shows better than most live action ones!
Animated Comedies - Family Guy, South Park, The Simpsons, etc...
Its a tough one on which is best. It would be between Family guy and Southpark but i think in my opinion South park wins but only by a small margine. I like how south park goes after making fun of things more and they seam to have no boundry to how far they go on making fun of something (but they dont have to worry about censering)

Anyone ever catch "Shin-Chan" on Cartoon Network? It's fracking hilarious. All the animation is based on a Japanese cartoon thats a few years old. But updated in a weird way. Which kind of inherently brings hilarity... It's about a 5 year old and his family, and craziness ensues for some reason. Lots of good one-liners and Shin's voice just has a way of making everything funny.
But yeah, the voice overs and crazy scenarios make this a real gem of a show... I've read the season 1 dvd will probably come out in May. I'll be buying.
Edit: Oops, almost forgot. It looks like a kids show, but really isn't. Besides the animation (Shin is mooning the camera half the time) most of the jokes have a decidedly 'adult' feel... probably one of the reasons I like it so much. And the crack-like addicting theme song.
Has anyone caught "Drawn Together"? Wow, twisted. It's a cartoon parody of a reality show, they all have to live together in the same house. You've got the Betty Boop looking character, a Superman clone, a Disney Princess, etc. If you're easily offended, you might not want to watch it, though. It's on Comedy Central, I think Wed nights.
"How do you know I'm mad?" asked Alice.
"You must be", said the cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here"
I've only seen the first season in it's entirety, I've caught a few here and there of the second and third (and last, it seems). Funny stuff, but it's one of those shows that I never remember it's on, just catch it in the listings sometimes.

Well you know me love family guy - hehe my avi here is Louis and Stewie
But I have a ipod video and I have all of the family guy (plus The Simpson's and Futurama) video's on my ipod (yep love torrents).
South Park - love it. Love the fact they kill poor Kenny all the time (I have a bratty neighbor kid that is named Kenny).

I must have watched like 20 episodes during the marathon they had all this week... They are making like 4 movie-length dvd episodes to end the series (again). The first one. "Bender's Big Score", came out last month, but I haven't seen it yet. Just like the Family Guy dvd movie, I'm sure it will be out on tv in 3 parts, tho I guess after the Comedy Central move.
Actually none of them would be there without the Flintstones which aired in primetime originally
The Family Guy is great (Brian and Stewie make the show)
South Park is hit or miss
Boondocks on AdultSwim is fantastic
Simpsons is still pretty good and surprisingly fresh after more than 18 years
Yeah, I wasn't forgetting the Flintstones, it was the real ground breaker for animation.
Out of all of them, Family Guy is my fav, South Park second. But I still hail The Simpsons for being around so long, and I think it may be getting better, but I missed the last few years worth. Futurama was also a good one, they had some really good episodes.
I thought King of the Hill was more realistic than all the live action sitcoms that were trying to be funny and yet real at the same time. The Simpsons is sometimes kinda reality based, but sometimes I like that South Park and Family Guy are just completely absurd and outrageously unrealistic.
I could never get into most Boondocks episodes.
Oh, yeah, I also liked Beavis and Butt-head. I promise that doesn't automatically make me a simpleton.
