American Idol Season 8 Wildcard Show, featuring Tatiana and Your Top 12 (snickers)

Features: The Wildcard Contestants Sing, The Judges Choose the final 3, The Drama that is Tatiana...lol, The last minute Decision

Jesse Langsten sung "tell me something good"  in a what I am guessing is her "little black  dress" of the leather or pleather variety, offset with beige leather boots and a off white mini sweater

Randy thought it wasn't great it was alright, Kara the Note Distapole complained about off notes, Paula was impressed and thought she had soul, and Simon thought she was way better then last time, but self indulgent.   I thought she was out of sink with the music by 1/10th of a seconds...lol

Matt Giraud sung "Who's loving you" by Jackson 5 dressed as a Rat pack meet Greeser wanna be (black jeans,black sports coat,black and white Bandanna,black straw fedora,white shirt,black dress shoes)

Kara thanked him for bringing back the Bluesly Soulful Matt,Paula though it was "him", Simon thought he was projecting Taylor Hicks, and Ryan Randy thought it was hot and he is giving the other contestants a run for their money. What can I say, I am rooting for him and he is one of my picks

Megan Corkrey sung "Black horse and Cherry Tree"...the song that Simon told Katherine Mcphee that if she sung for her final songs against Taylor Hicks she was going to lose the competition (Never doubt the Simon) in a black and while floral print baby doll dress black tights and Brown open toe leather sandals accented with plastic beige beads and her lucky charm on her left wrist doing the "Corkrey" the whole time (Sort of a twisty shake thing)

Paula thought the song fit her personality and style, Simon thought she was current and totally not "Karaoke", Ryan thought it wasn't the best vocal but it is "her", and Kara hoped she stays (vote for her dammit). What can I say,she is one of my picks

Von Smith sung "sorry seems to be the hardest word" following the black and white theme in a black while pin stripe coat and white and black striped shirt,black jeans,black sneakers and his howdy doody meats Bob's Big boy hair doo

By the first verse I was like "What the hell, he started to high".  Simon thought it was boring, Randy thought he was too serious, Kara thought it was dark, Paula thought he over thought it

Jasmine sung "Reflection" from Mulan in a Red silken Prom like mini dress , accented with silver/mirror high heels and gold bangle bead loop ear rings

I thought is was good but Pagenty, Ryan thought it was 100% better from last time, Kara was confused about her big voice(I'm not),Simon thought Paula  didn't give her enough credit (which ticked off Paula which first told him off then was grabbing at him when he was talking) and was a brave  song choice 

Ricky Braddy sung "Superstitious in what looked like Tights, white Sneakers, a white dress shirt,black tie and grey polyester vest.

Oh Gawd, this is why I don't go to Karaoke bars...ever. Kara thought he had good chops (with Simon teasing her to say it), Paula loved the way he loosened up, Simon thought he sounded good but was lightweight and clumsy,and Randy didn't think it was the right song and self indulgent

Tatiana Del Torro sung "Saving all my love for you" (her Signature song apparently) in a Black top gold bottom glittering dress accented with black high heels with Paula's bracelet on the right hand and a string bead "friendship" bracket on the right hand and gave a deep bow then started babbling

Paula mentioned she noticed Tatiana growing a accent "she never had before"  which made Tatiana babble about how she is like the other guy where when she gets emotional her accent comes out....which is true which is why people could barely understand her babbling about her getting through in Hollywood week proving to guys telling her she had to sleep with them to be successful was proved wrong...lol She also gain her accent a bit while she was keep on begging during her first audition to listen to her Cds and put her through.

Anyway, after Tatiana explaining when she is thinking in English she can take the accent out (voice training), Paula continues that she isn't a big fan of contestants that repeat songs but she can sing, Simon complained that it was in fact the 3rd time she sung the song and asked if it was country week if she makes it to top twelve if she's sing the same song again..lol ,she said no,then he asked why she sang the same song again and she said she couldn't clear any other song within a day and he said "rubbish" and then she said well I couldn't clear any song better then this one and he said "rubbish"  then she said "I love this song" and Simon said "Well then tell the truth,you wanted to sing the same song". When she mentioned why fix something that isn't broke Simon rebutted that it wasn't good enough last time cause she didn't get through the last time with the song 

Randy thought it started really rough and feels it's a "Mix Bag of Tricks", and Kara thought it is like the "Adventures of Tatiana" with the new voice and the way she is acting and when she commented "At least she is not crying and holding her hearts" Simon interpreted with "she will,She will"

Hey, Kara may have hit on something. Like how Latka split into 2 personalities  on Taxi perhaps we are dealing with a person with Multiple personalties (though Simon didn't think so) which can happen when the brain learns to ways of doing thing like thinking in 2 languages....if this is the case and Tatiana was to be put though she could be the first Mentally Handicapped/Bi-Polar top 12 contestant.

But seriously, I crossed my mind for a second that like that Boy George wanna be character in the Wedding Singer, Tatiana may only know this song from end to end (In English) but then I did remember she sung 5 different songs for her first audition and they did a song count on her including her diddys for the top 36 revealing show at 9. Drama aside She can sing but Simon was very put off by her and Kara and Paula were confused in the apparent "change"

And as Ryan came up on stage to do the next plug Tatiana was kneeling on the stage then stood up as Ryan came up and he mentioned she didn't have to get up for him and she can stay down there if she likes which started some immature hooting that made Tatiana realize the "immature thoughts" (She did kneel back down pretty close to Ryan while looking up with her left hand on his back)  and made a "OMG expression" and quickly stood and turn and walked away from the stage toward the contestant stand as Ryan kneeled whjile saying "that's not what I meant" while Kara was repeating "family show" while Simon was saying "thank you"(to Kara), and Randy saying "Ryan, OMG" and under Ryan's plug of Anoop after he stood up and Tatiana came back to the center of the stage you can hear Simon saying "Sorry,Tatiana,sorry"

Anoop Dog (Desai) sung "My Provocative" in a blue pull casual dress short sleeve shirt over a black long sleeve, black deres slacks and white snickers

After telling the Cheering Audience "Thank you", he said Anoop was like a enthusiastic dog then got booed in saying he wasn't the best singer,but it is the Anoop the judges like, Randy thought he did way better, Kara wanted to dance, Paula thought he was a showman with some "nasty moves" that made her stop dancing and go "woah"

Then in the way of the Result show......

Jasmine was called to the Center of the Stage and after some heavy deliberation Randy Announced "Welcome to the top 12"

Next they called up Ricky and Kara told him he was not in the top 12

They then called up Tatiana and Megan and after Paula Babbling about it sometimes things don't work out and shows like this can seem and can be cruel before  Paula announced they chose Megan for the Second seat (soon as I heard the Cruel, mean,and unfair lecture I knew she was talking to Tatiana and how she was portrayed in the Audition in Hollywood Week and the first week the Camera man keep on focusing on her in defeat,not Megan)

At this point Meagan was hugging Tatiana while she was cupping her hands over her mouth (like last time she got voted off) and you could hear Megan asking her if she was alright

They had Tatiana then go in front of the Judges as Paula wanted to talk to her  and she along with Kara and Ryan's gave her more words of encouragement that it wasn't the end cause she is a brilliant singer and Paula added the comment that it isn't going to be about singing cause she is going to be an Actress too which caused a smattering of laughter

At this point my mom, the "Tatiana Hater" started to complain about why did they put her through just to break her heart then (I started laughing at her finally having pitty for the girl being used in such a way)

Hey Bikini Girl is making the most of her 15 minutes of fame, Tatiana got way more then that as one of the most talked about AI contestant ever.

so I don't doubt the Judges One bit. In fact Simon,as a measure on his contract, has first dibs on her if he wants her to add to his talent pool (though since he finds her a annoying drama queen it isn't likely)

Next Jesse was called up and Simon was the one to tell her she didn't

Then Paula was the one to tell Von Smith that he didn't make it

They then brought up Matt and Anoop and Randy Noted that there was 2 left and only one stool (duh) then called on Simon who announced that Matt made it into the top 12

He then called for Ryan's and Anoop's attention to say something to Anoop which was on behalf of all the Judges that they decided, recently,they are going to make this a top 13

At that moment Anoop went "What" as everyone cheered....I Was Happy as I wanted Anoop and he was one of my Choices who I thought got ousted by Jasmine being chosen...lol

Over all I liked the new style of Top 12 Selection  where the winners sung the song and I didn't mind the WildCard Show being formatted the way it was either....Especially cause Anoop,Matt,and Megan made it in when my voting for them failed them...lol

Really think them using Tatiana and then patronizing her was rude and unnecessary though I don't think this would have been a Issue if she hadn't been "Tranquilized" on the first Group week cause her coming in 4th was probably cause she wasn't as "Crazy" as everyone thought which made America lose interst in her after them building her up as the "Annoying girl"  you must love to hate during the pre-show and Hollywood Week

But come'on  Do we really need another "Charo" ?(Anyone old enough to remember that "crazy" Singer/Actress)

And on a personal note I am not going to torture my mom with Tatiana's laugh anymore cause she finally felt sorry for her being "used" by AI as a rating booster (It was the judges patronizing her that made my mom flip,specifically "Not only a Singer,but a Actress too" crack)

So next week American Idol Is on the Big Stage at the Kodak (looks both way for Polar bear that roars in my face when I mispell it) with your top 13, and Amazingly with all my choices so I am in a voting bind after Jasmine is voted off...lol
