Because they ran long, (And cut my taping last song by Adam) and because of viewer complaints only 2 judges are judging at a time. There were hints that it was the female Judges fault the show ran over last week...lol
The first one to perform was Alison singing "I'm Missing you" from the Box offie Sleeper Armegedon.
Yeah, more specifically the wedding song of that movie's ending scene after the main Character (Bruce Willis) saved the world by blowing the Astroid (and himself) up and the Wedding included a picture of him Standing in as part of the Wedding party
Always found it funny that that I had to explain the character's Life flashed before his eyes before he blew up and people were like "What, he saw his girl growing up and like a preminition of her being an adult and getting married" and I respond "duh" (daughter was his life). Also was the first movie I saw in a Sardine can trying to pass off as a Movie theather with someone complaining behind me she couldn't see the screen as much as I tried to crunch my 6'5 tall, 21/2 feet wide frame low into glorified pinic chairs out of courtesy (Not my fualt they built the dam place flat)
Anyways...I thought she should have sung Bette Midler's "Hero" from Beaches but this performance was okay...I voted for my girl. Paula thought she was a remarkable talented lady (+ 1000 words), Simon thought she was the Girl's only hope left in the competition and could possible make it to the end
Anoop then Sung "Everythjing I do I do it for you" from Robin Hood:Prince of Theives...the good modern movie version where the Sword fights wasn't theatrical dueling but people swinging like barbarians trying to hurt each other...lol
Anoop Dog was good this week...good enough to be among my 4 pick...I voted for him. Randy thought he found his Zone, Kara thought it was one of his best poerformances (blah, blah, blah) ....I seriously do think it was the girls fault...lol
Adam then sung "Born to be Wild" from Easy Rider(Adam Style).
Never saw the movie, but liked Adam's performance, voted for him. Paula was dancing and screaming and the audience was still cheering during her "blah, blah, blah". Simon thought vocally incredible but perfomance wise it looked like the Rocky Horror picture show in parts (which got some boos over Adam saying he loves that movie and laughing)
Matt then sung "Have yo ever really love a woman" from Don Juan (Jonny Depp version)
Love the song, love the movie, love the Piano Man's version of it...I voted for him rounding out my 4 pick.Randy thought he butchard it, Kara babbled about him "flipped it wrong" (he probabbly wanted to flip Kara at that point...lol)
The Gokey, again with Keoki frogs around my house going "Gokey!Gokey", sung "Endless Love" from the movie of the same name...The first movie that had me wondering why to nakied people were rolling around by the fireplace before the Adults shooed my out of the room....lol (thus my first offical exposer to Sex in the Media)
Danny is a 1 trick Poney, Allison proved that by immitating him singing different songs the same way...lol. Paula babbled about his key, and his voice (She liked it), Simon was disapointed it was traditional
next Kris Sung "Falling Slowly" from movie Once?. never heard of it, first time ever heard song.
Liked it but not enough to break my top 4 rule. Randy didn't like it and it was pitchy, Kara thought it was his best moment
Lil Rounded out the Evening (oui pun) with "The Rose" by Bette Midler
Know the song as a Standard, they didn't mention what movie it came from.
Kinda copy cattinsh in the beginning, didn't like the Gospel uppity in the second verse and she was out of key and she was overpowering the song
Paula said it sucked without saying it sucked...I think. Simon was fustrated that she has lost herself...followed by her pointleslly trying to justify herself to Simon that got some Cheers, but If I hadn't locked in my 4 votes, wouldn't have voted for her
Simon, and lately Kara represents the most extreme and critical of the voters and as traditional and fun as it is to Boo Simon the performance wasn't good
I chose who I think should be the top 4 this week (Alison,Adam,Matt,Anoop) and of course this means the last 3, Lil,Kris, and Danny end up in the bottom 3 according to my books
Bottom 2 will likely be Danny and Lil, and I think Lil is going home

Am I mistaken, or did Alison sing Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss a Thing?" I know, because I remember thinking that David Cook did it last season, and she didn't do as good.
