hi, i hope someone can help me because i know next to nothing about computers. whenever i go on the web i get this wacky alert: "onLookupFailed 55 1" several times. it seems to be connected to the amount of ads they have?? i can usually close them but often it causes me to lose my connection. not to mention that it's a pain in the butt! what does it mean? how do i fix it? ack!

My site advisor never gives me problems. I'm sorry you are having trouble. I found some stuff on a mcafee forum. Read through it and see if any of there ideas will be helpful. McAfee forum.

ok, i figured it was that evil mcafee site advisor and i disabled it...now if i could just uninstall all that stuff....
