AdBlock, Proxy? Best defense to go unseen?

Well, I have AdBlock up and running now thanks to GUG! I was wondering though... Say I looked at a private page-not logged in. Nothing comes up on ABP. Then when I am logged in to view the private page-not private anymore, there is a tracker, because ABP says it is blocking one site-(and now of course I forgot which one).

I guess what I want to know is

1. If ABP blocks, does it show anything at all about my being there? Is this enough protection not to be seen or...

2. Should I use a proxy too? Does that show up or does this give warning bells to someone? Thanks! Smiling

but onced adblock is installed. is there anything else i need to do? add some "list"?
i use adblock
surf in proxy
and i have some thing called foxyproxy

am i good?
i like the new myspace tracker.

(1) imho, i would not rely solely on AB for protection from being seen or tracked. here is a great thread on having additional trackers in place: http://grownupgeek.com/tracker-that-works-whe

(2) a proxy wouldn't be a bad idea either. here are a few freebies to consider: freebieproxy.com and 3proxy.com
