Like all of you who have signed up for just countless trackers that only read their IP address' and leave no way of seeing who it was and leave you with no way of finding out that person I think I found a tracker that works ( for the mean time ) I signed up for it yesterday and so far it's shown me the people who have viewed and the link to their profile. I found it thru surfing and if anyone knows anything to add please do : ) The link is:
www.profiletrail.info EDIT BY MOD: CAUTION, one bad experience already.
Just copy and paste : )

The best one i've tried is spacesnoop.com, which gives you a 3day free trial, but only works with IE. plus the RSS feeds are cool i get new visits popping up on my desktop
This tracker stole their code from profiletracker.us
It does NOT track any users who view your profile using firefox or safari.
They charge you $4/month thru a paypal subscription after your one day trial.
They offer NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
Use at your own risk.
For a tracker that works better than this one, use profiletracker.us !!
ACK!!!!! I tried to put this one on a profile and it KILLED the profile...and as others had reported, it was pure HELL to get the profile back to normal. The problem with a tracker like this (in my opinion) is that if it is this problematic from the outset, it's best for anyone who isn't very well-versed in computers to stay away from it.
And, I've got to say again, I LOVE this site! Such an easy and friendly place to learn about the scary world of computers....I've found that it IS possible to teach an old girl new tricks! (The old girl being me, of course)

Ok, I bit the bullet and registered. It's an awkward process. The code shows through onto you profile in one place. I have that part hidden with other code so it's invisible on my profile. I had already blocked the code as bottlebob suggested so I opened IE amd checked my profile. It did work. This tracker showed one hit from an unlogged in profile. I logged into an alternate account and hit my page up again, yep it still worked. the sketchy thing is when you copy and paste the URL it changes from .info to .com, I don't know if that matters. Now, having said all that, I have sworn off trackers and will now delete it. I just had to find out if it really worked. I'll report back on deleting since that seems to be a sore subject.

Try this.

If this link offends just delete it. It seems to be a good step by step to fix this problem. Good luck.

Good post - no offense there.
Apparently, those that use IE are seeing messed up profiles when code is inserted in the networking section. Could be related to more stringent XSS protocols used by the browser.
I'm pretty certain that this code has been edited. I've tried a few variations and nothing. If you watch the video the site offers, it doesn't look like anything that I'm getting.
My guess is that this tracker code is filtered. There may be another variation out there that operates on the same principle.

I didn't register so I couldn't find the video. I did check the test profile as well as one other with this code. Portions of code show in the networking section. Is that the problem?

Am I the only one who got this to work? I feel bad cuz people think it's not a good tracker but it has tracked everyone today for me. It's not the easiest thing to install and I'm really hoping someone else will get it to work so people will realize I'm not trying to do anything wrong. Anybody else have any luck with it??
I registered with a fake email - no confirmation was needed. You do have to remember it for future logins.
Sally, I'm not completely sure that it's filtered, thats why I would love if someone else could report on this. It's a possibility that you were able to get it into your profile before the filter was set - which seems to be in the networking section.
I've had an XSS tracker in the past, and it was one good tracker. It was also filtered in two days and as soon as you update your profile...it's muffed. I think in this case, if you update your network section - it would be muffed.
Also, there exists the possibility that your profile looks whacked if you view it in IE. Are you using that browser and can you check on that?

im gonna cry . i have no idea what to do .. this?
javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ctl00$Main$ProfileEditContent$networkEditor$networksGridView$ctl02$ctl01','')
is not working . my god !
Try http://editprofile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=profile.editsafenetworking
javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ctl00$Main$ProfileEditContent$networkEditor$networksGridView$ctl02$ctl01','')
is not working . my god !
This code worked for me first try. I copied it and pasted it into my browser, hit enter and when the page loaded the tracker code was gone. I deleted the code from my interests first, companies second and the second networking section third. Then I copied the code into my browser last of all.
"I'm just like you only shorter."
Figured it out.
It's not a security issue in Firefox that's doing it. It's a security issue in IE!!!
I placed this code in the profile while using Internet Explorer, and it worked like a charm. Tracked my alternate profiles that I use without fail. However...
It only tracks IE browsers! It didn't pick up my profile while logged in Firefox.
So, unless someone can show differently, if you use this code - place it into your profile while using IE.
My profile appears unchanged as well.

This is the code when you're trying to erase your networking section on myspace. You need to go to your edit profile section in myspace. Then click on networking. Then paste that code into the address bar at the top where you paste links : ) This help? Just let me know.
People can use the filter photobuckets.info to block this one.
Missi, have you tried taking the same steps and just filling in something different?
yes it will let me do the company one .. delete it but there is no option to delete the networking im so upset.. where would i put that photobucket thing?
Go to networking on edit profile
Paste the whole string into the browser bar and hit enter
Repeat until it's done.
The whole thing is documented by video on the tracker site if you have problems, under remove code.

Go to networking and post this in the browser bar until it's gone.
javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ctl00$Main$ProfileEditContent$networkEditor$networksGridView$ctl02$ctl01','')
I'm not having success either. This code is working on a very complicated style of Cross Site Scripting (XSS), which is a form of hacking. I highly recommend caution here and only experienced users should attempt.
I think it's probably filtered already. Experienced users should reply if there is success.

that damn tracker did not work . and now I can't get the code off my networking and it deleted half my profile . HOW DO I FIX THIS PLEASE
Did you get your profile fixed? I did the same thing you did. When I put it in wrong the first time and tried to delete everything because I had put it in wrong, I thought I had erased it all until I looked at my profile and it had moved everything that was at the top right and pushed it down to the bottom and had it all jumbled up. I went into the code section(section 2) and on the right hand side it says issues. See it? It has a code to put in your address bar. Well for it to work you have to be in the edit section then after you get to the networking section paste that it in the address bar until your networking is empty. That should fix your profile. If not let me know : )
is there a fee?
On the code page on step 4 it says if you get 5 ppl to sign up you will get free membership. i haven't got to that point yet where it expires yet. It's only a one day free trial, but it actually works. Best one I've seen so far.
If a tracker is trying to get you to recruit, I say stay away!
