Hi everyone.
I have a Regent HT 500 (also known as Lennox HT 500, if I recall correctly) and I was wondering, can it play PAL format DVDs? If not, does anyone know of any store here (Ohio, Cleveland to be exact) where I can buy one for cheap? Thanks in advance!

It'll probably be an ongoing thing. I'm not sure if it would work in my PC/Laptop because it's region 5 
(I figured out how to change the region of my HT 500, so I'm pretty sure if it plays PAL dvds along with the region change it would work)

Maybe a dumb question.. but.. why cant you just put in your PAL DVD and see if it plays?

Oh, easy then..
When the DVD arrives, try it in your player.. if it doesnt work, try it in your PC, if it doesnt work, take it with you to Best Buy and try it in their demo-players until you find one that works .. ya?

Do you just want to watch one PAL DVD, or will this be an ongoing thing? You might try the DVD player in your PC/Laptop.. Many computer DVD players are able to play both NTSC and PAL format..
